Community, Civility and Connections Convening
Event Information
Building upon the Tacoma Ministerial Alliance and Governor Jay Inslee’s Proclamation of July as Love Thy Neighbor Month, NAACP, Vibrant Schools and the League of Women Voters are hosting a community convening and call to action. This will be a two-hour gathering emphasizing the importance of community, civility and connections to our democracy, education system and community safety. Participants will have an opportunity to offer ideas about how our county can come together more for the benefit of all.
This event will be held at The Evergreen State College, 1210 6th Avenue, Tacoma on July 16, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
