Justice for All: Advocacy, Education, Organizing

January 21 @ 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Free but RSVP requested

Pierce County Friends,

Faith Action Network is excited to hold a free advocacy training for faith communities throughout Pierce County. Come learn about our 2018 legislative priorities and take away useful skills and resources to be effective advocates in Olympia. You don’t want to miss this great opportunity to network with other people of faith on various issues that are central to many of our faith traditions.

During this training we will be discussing policy areas pertaining to ending human trafficking, environmental justice, economic justice and immigration reform.  If you are new to advocacy or have been advocating for years, this training has something for everyone. We will learn how the legislative process works, how to identify who your elected officials are, ways to follow specific bills during session and much more. Together, let’s, learn, organize and advocate to further justice in our state. If you would like to attend or have any question simply email dickson@fanwa.org to RSVP. I hope to see you there.
