The People’s Gathering: A Revolution of Consciousness

February 24 @ 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

$150 - $250

The People’s Gathering (TPG) is a professional/personal development learning experience and networking opportunity designed to move the (often dreaded) “race conversation” forward. The conference will be held on Friday, Feb. 24 at PLU, and it seeks to create a supportive space in which participants can engage in honest and open dialogue about race and racial disparities that are systemically present in work, school and everyday life. This event is endorsed by the Tacoma Ministerial Alliance and will provide a unique and fun opportunity for members of your faith community to expand their understanding and personal networks across cultures. Keynote speaker is Dr. Randal Pinket, nationally known entrepreneur, author and scholar.
