Come to Weaving Our Strengths, a day-long conference of fellowship, inspiration and skill-building to strengthen local churches’ efforts for the common good. There will be worship, workshops, resource fair, the Rev. Gertrude Apel Pioneering Spirit Awards, and conversations to weave our strengths together. This year’s theme is For Such a Time as This.

Workshop themes include faith-based community organizing; racial reconciliation and justice-making; building relationships across differences; spiritual discomfort; climate justice; the Reformation today; affordable housing; ways to call upon God; immigrant accompaniment; and allyship in the public square.

Weaving Our Strengths is offered by the Church Council of Greater Seattle. Their mission is to create a diverse community of churches and individuals who respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ by building relationships of unity while working collaboratively for the common good.
