Faith in Action at Our Savior Lutheran Church
Our Savior Lutheran Church, located at 4519 112th St. E, in Tacoma has a robust team of volunteers helping through their Faith In Action Ministry. This group has organized a very unique, auto repair service. The physical church has an attached garage and its purpose is to serve individuals with low-income who possess vehicles in need of repair. This is done, FREE OF CHARGE and takes place on the third Saturday of every month, with the exception of August. Car services are done within the hours of 8am until 12noon. In order to schedule a repair, the person must be able to physically drive their vehicle to the location. In addition to auto repairs, the church also does yard work for those who are physically unable, as well as minor home repairs.
