november29-std

#GivingTuesday 2016. Because giving makes a difference for others–and for you!

Associated Ministries has joined #GivingTuesday.

This event is global. It’s day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage giving and to celebrate generosity worldwide.

You can join, too!

#GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

  • Kick-off your holiday giving season.
  • Inspire your family and friends to collaborate with you in improving your local community.
  • Ask them to give to the charities and causes they support because our collective support makes an impact.

Please make your #GivingTuesday gift to Associated Ministries, your congregation, or another local nonprofit organization and experience the thrill of making a difference!

April is Volunteer Appreciation Month!

Volunteers.  Associated Ministries is grateful for the thousands of hours that our volunteer each year to help with programs such as Paint Tacoma-Pierce Beautiful, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance and Pierce County Hunger Walk to name just a few.  Through their dedication to strengthening our community and giving of their time and talents, we have been able to paint nearly 2,200 homes of low-income homeowners, help thousands of people file their taxes, and for 35 years help organize and run an event to raise money for hunger relief.

Volunteers.  They are an invaluable part of what we do and we appreciate each and every one who has been able to give of their time, whether for an hour or 600 hours during a year.  Their passion and willingness to join us to unite people of faith and goodwill in the effort to make life better and perhaps easier for those in need, is a cherished gift.

Volunteers.  We could not do what we do without them and we say thank you!
