East Pierce Community Leadership Forum

East Pierce Community Leadership is a community forum for all faith leaders, or their representatives, to meet, discuss and share ideas on how to strengthen and protect our families and our community. Faith leaders of all denominations in Eastern Pierce County Washington, and surrounding area are invited. We also welcome any civic community organization and business leaders who would like to develop an interface with these community representatives.

We meet monthly at the Sumner Library in the Sumner Room

Connecting 4 Students

Associated Ministries is partnering with Graduate Tacoma, Communities in Schools and others, to offer a free networking event “Connecting 4 Students.” This is an event to bring together people interested in improving academic outcomes for Pre K-12 Tacoma Public School students. We would be pleased to have members of the local faith communities attend and connect with others who care about the students in our communities as well as the community at-large.

Enjoy complimentary appetizers as you make connections with like-minded people over short burst of time. Inform others about your work and the type of support your organization needs, learn about other projects or to just let people know you are available to lend a helping hand. Whether you are a community volunteer, non-profit, business, public agency or faith-based organization that supports students; a principal, teacher or school administrator; or you are just thinking about how you can help, this is an opportunity to share your interests with others in a positive, comfortable and fun setting.
