Tday Rev Kakihara EDITEDOver 500 people gathered on Tuesday, November 24th to celebrate in unity at Associated Ministries’ Annual Thanksgiving Interfaith Gathering. This year’s celebration was hosted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 1102 South Pearl St. in Tacoma. We are especially grateful for the hospitality and broad support of the LDS community for the event.

On this evening, people of all faith traditions can come together in gratitude and prayer and celebrate one another and all the things there are to be grateful for.

Speaking of things to be grateful for, this year’s collection baskets raised $2,306.83.  Those funds were split between Associated Ministries’ Family Emergency Fund and Catholic Community Services’ Family Housing Network.  Thank you to everyone who contributed in helping support those programs!

Save the Date for next year’s gathering:  Tuesday, November 22, 2016
