Beautiful Evening at Interfaith Iftar Dinner
March 11, 2026
Nearly 140 people gathered on March 8 to celebrate the breaking of the fast (Iftar) with Muslim friends as neighbors during Ramadan.
Joining our Muslim friends in the festivities included people from many different faith traditions including Judaism, Protestant Christianity, Quakers, Baha’i, Sikh, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and others. When conversations happen across faith lines, we are connected in our humanity, drawing us closer and creating connections and a stronger community.
This annual event is in its 9th year. Thank you to the four organizations who worked together to make this evening happen: Pacifica Foundation of Seattle, Islamic Center of Tacoma, University of Puget Sound, and Associated Ministries.
