Event Information
The sustainable life needed to shape a sustainable world begins within. Each of the nine meetings for this shared reading and study of D. Gwyn, A Sustainable Life: Quaker Faith and Practice in the Renewal of Creation (2014), explores two dimensions of the sustainable faith, such as equality and community, unity and differentiation, peace and nonviolent action. First meeting is Jan. 29, then every second Wednesday thereafter, 6-7:30pm via Zoom. All are welcome to join this free event at any time, even well after the series begins. For a syllabus, the Zoom link, and tips on acquiring the book, contact Chris Ferguson at cdf@plu.edu.
