In The Words of Pope Francis

Pope Francis’ visit to the United States, with his 19 speeches and homilies, moved many people.  The message in his words was heard by many.  But what about those words?  A theme began to emerge from those 19 speeches and homilies.  As Carol Kuruvilla, Religion Associated Editor for the Huffington Post wrote, HuffPost Religion studied the text of all of Francis’ speeches and homilies to see what words he used the most often. In line with his tendency to preach about the gospel with joy, the analysis reveals that the pope spoke extensively about life, love, family and God.
