Interfaith Opportunities in 2022!

Interfaith Peace Mandala

As we all know and have felt, the past two years have been challenging, to say the least. Not being able to be together in community face-to-face has been difficult and often lonely at times. Associated Ministries has missed gathering communities of faith and people of goodwill during this time.

2022 is right around the corner and we are looking forward to getting creative about interfaith engagement opportunities and how we can come together. There is a lot of excitement around re-energizing our interfaith programming and bringing us all together either virtually or in person.

Check out some of the opportunities we are working to bring to you and your congregations in 2022:

  • Martin Luther King Jr. “Redeeming the Prophetic Vision” Interfaith Service (Jan. 16)
  • Anti-racism and reconciliation workshops and training
  • Interfaith Women’s workshops throughout the year*
  • Community Quarterly Meetings to Solve Homelessness
  • “Religion 101” Lunch & Learns
  • Interfaith Women’s Day of Service
  • Interfaith Celebration of Gratitude Service

(*Our fingers were crossed that the Interfaith Women’s Conference would be able to be held in 2022.  With so many uncertainties and the number of volunteers and work that it takes to plan this event, the decision has been made to not hold an in-person conference in 2022.  Our goal is to still bring women of different faiths together, but in smaller groups for dialogue and workshops throughout the year. Stay tuned for information about a hands-on Day of Service later in the year.)

Watch for more information on 2022 interfaith events posted in this space as they develop. If you have any suggestions, ideas, or questions, please contact Sandy Windley at sandyw@associatedministries.org.

Happy holidays to you, whatever that may look like for you.  Here’s to seeing you in 2022!
