2014 Hunger Walk – Join the Effort to Fight Hunger

Join Us for the 2014 Hunger Walk!

What: 5K & 10K Fundraising Walk/Run, for hunger relief in our community and abroad
When: October 5, 2014
Run starts 1PM, Walk begins 2PM. Entertainment, food, and family fun Noon to 4PM.
Where: Fort Steilacoom Park, 9601 Steilacoom Blvd, Lakewood, WA (Across from Western State Hospital)

Online Registration closes October 2nd at 5PM
Team Registration (5 or more walkers):
Adults $10 each; Youth $5 each (6 to 18 years); 5 and under free
Individual Registration:
Adult $20; Youth $10 (6 to 18 years); 5 and under free

Half of the proceeds from the Hunger Walk benefit the Emergency Food Network (EFN), Pierce County’s non-profit distribution center for more than 70 food banks, hot meal sites and shelters. EFN provides about 75% of food sources for Pierce County food banks and shelters. The other 50 percent goes to local and international hunger relief agencies designated by each walker.
