Image discovering a way to significantly increase financial support for Associated Ministries this year and all it will cost you is about 10 minutes of your time. Interested?
Corporate philanthropy programs are an untapped resource for providing financial assistance to charitable organizations across the country, and more importantly, here in our own backyard. More and more companies are creating social responsibility programs to designate funds to organizations in which their employees volunteer and support. One example is TrueBlue, an international staffing company headquartered in Tacoma. They channel their vision of addressing major social problems into their core business strategy through their corporate citizenship program called GroundWorks. This program provides cash grants to organizations that help prepare the workforce for the future.
And TrueBlue isn’t alone. Organizations throughout Pierce County have corporate funding available for charitable organizations that are important to their employees. But they can’t fund what they don’t know about. We must take initiative and ask for it.
So that’s what I did. The GroundWorks online application took less than 10 minutes to complete. A few weeks later, I received a check made out to Associated Ministries for $2,500. WOW! It was that simple.
Imagine how much support we could provide to Associated Ministries this year if everyone who had access to a corporate giving program requested and received corporate grants. The possibilities are staggering! And you can make the difference! Be part of the conversation. Fill out the application. Be part of making 2018 the greatest year ever, eliminating homelessness throughout Pierce County through Associated Ministries and the generous gifts from your corporate giving program.
Your 10 minute investment could make the difference in the lives of individuals and families in ways you couldn’t have imagined.
