Volunteers Needed for VITA Program

AM’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is seeking volunteers to be trained to provide free help for low-to-moderate income families who need assistance preparing their tax returns. Training is offered online or in a classroom; tax prep sites are located throughout Pierce County and generally open nights and weekends. Not interested in doing taxes? We’re also seeking volunteers to be a greeter/intake specialist or site coordinator. All ages are welcome, and this is a great opportunity to gain new skills, add to your resume, meet new people and make a big difference in our community!
